LORE written by MADPROPRO:

During a battle in the quarantine region of what became known to Apes as, “The Siege of Ape Island”, hope had all but dissipated for the Nano Apes and the Warbird Astro Legion. A local Golem Ape Warlord and his insufferable infestation of Infernal Apes had Pegasus Battalion pinned down. Acid and incendiaries rained down on the unit for hours. Before his last breath, a young Pegasus Master Gunnery Sergeant secured the comms for a final plea, “Broken Banana”. The Infernal Horde was unrelenting, sending wave after wave of festering Apes. The Warlord reveled in the blood and the mar, which was now knee deep. The stench of the battlefield was carried with the fog… But the Warlord was unsated. As he raised his blood soaked sword to the sky, signaling the blitz to come, his attention was stolen by a blinding light from above. Through the blood dripping below his sword, he saw an explosive stream of bursts leaving streaks in the sky. The horde became erratic, and the Warlord shifted his focus back to the dwindling number of Pegasus Rangers still fending for their lives, despite the offenses. The Warlord again reached high into the sky with a greater resolve, and with his great chest, he prepared to let out a battle cry,”…” But nothing was uttered from the Warlord’s lips, which had suddenly become frozen in fear as his eyes widened. As clear as a mirror, a Viral Ape Lieutenant could see their fates in the ghost-like eyes of the Warlord. The sky turned red with fire and rung unbearably with the shrill sound of whimpering Virus Apes being vaporized before the Warlord’s still locked stare and frozen open mouth. The hellfire from the sky was short-lived, but sunk a massive dagger in the rib of the Viral Horde. A lone warrior descended, said to be possessed by a ‘Crimson Demon’, had pummeled straight through line after line of Infernal Ape. The Pegasus Sergeant Major, known as the ‘Crimson Demon’, struck down 10, then 20, then 50 Infernal Apes… but with each passing melee, he was taking great damage and dwindling in vigor. The ‘Crimson Demon’ climbed atop a mound of 150 dismembered and slain enemies, battling the still surging Horde… and just then, he saw over the fog, and set eyes on Tokugawa Ieyasu, which he knew was the legendary Warlord of the Infernal Apes. The chasm which separated them had become irrelevant. The ‘Crimson Demon’ ignited his jets and set off straight at the Golem Warlord, taking hit after hit, suffering from wounds to his CPU cores and his nano-charged biotech with each passing meter. At the final distance, he struck a single blow to the Warlord, hurting him badly. With this, the ‘Crimson Demon’ took 4 steps back, deeply wounded and overcome with exhaustion, and on the fifth step, he fell dead before the horde. The Warlord was said to have died weeks later from the wound he suffered at the hands of the legendary Sanada Yukimura, the ‘Crimson Demon’ of the Pegasus Battalion.
